Perfect humidification for fresh products in supermarket counters

Idrotech by Idrobase Group launches two new misting systems, designed to humidify fresh products placed on supermarket stalls. Especially fruits, vegetables, fish and flowers.

Humi Fog is a medium pressure misting system for small areas, while Humi Extra works with high pressure and can be used in medium/large supermarket areas. Thanks to utilization of these systems, the products keep their freshness for a long period, up to 72 hours.

The system works with sprayed water, that is opportunely filtered and sterilised and then it is sprayed on fresh products through nozzles, mounted on steel or polyamide line. In this way, the products are promptly rehydrated, preventing dehydration and reducing the weight loss of these products up to 90%.

Reducing weight loss means maintaining products freshness, potentially increasing the chances to sell them. Among the features of both systems we’d like to highlight the low energy consumption (only 125 watts) and, particular very useful for outdoor, the action of these spraying systems also helps keep insects away.
